 LLumar Magnum films are made with layers of Du Pont’s Mylar film bonded by a strong, durable pressure-sensitive adhesive system. Easily installed to the interior of new or existing glass, the film forms an almost invisible shield that holds glass shards together when a pane breaks. This can effectively reduce flying glass-related injuries that can result from everything from a hurricane or earthquake tremor to a terrorist attack. Various levels of film protection are available to address different hazard levels.

LLumar Magnum Safety & Security Film benefits don’t preclude aesthetic considerations. The Magnum Series provides optically clear film without distortion and without a yellowed, cloudy or frosty overcast.

LLumar Magnum Anti-Graffiti Film, part of the LLumar Magnum Safety & Security Film Series, offers a complete surface protection system for windows and surfaces that are vulnerable to damage. Vandals can’t see it so they don’t know that it’s there. Made with layers of polyester film bonded by special adhesives and impregnated with UV inhibitors, LLumar Magnum Graffiti Film offers protection against graffiti vandals, glass acid-taggers and smash-and-grab robbers.

Extreme Window Films uses the Frame-Lok Attachment System to secure LLumar Magnum films to the window or door frame.  LLumar Magnum films keep glass together if broken, but the Frame-Lok Attachment System helps keep the film/glass combination locked inside the perimeter of the frame.

No other anchoring system can offer this type of flexibility, colour match, and easily installation without causing irreversible damage to the existing frame.
